Pacific Environment - Protecting the Living Environment of the Pacific Rim

Dr. Thamasak Yeemin, a renowned MPA expert, supports Pacific Environment’s MPA work in Thailand as a consultant. He has worked at the Marine Biodiversity Research Group, Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok since 1992. Dr. Yeemin has experience in marine ecosystems, including management, conservation, research, and administration, based on nearly 30 years of fieldwork in Thailand and other parts of the Western Pacific. His education includes a Ph.D. in Biology from Kyushu University, an M.S. in Biology from the University of the Ryukyus, an M.S. and B.S. in Marine Biology from Chulalongkorn University, and a diploma in Environmental Management from the Netherlands International Institute for Management.
