Pacific Environment - Protecting the Living Environment of the Pacific Rim

Sophia Williams serves as Pacific Environment’s Program Assistant, Climate. Previously, she spent two years serving as an organizer and internal organizer for Service Employees International Union, where she supported policy and process improvements, facilitated meetings and planned events, and supported effective internal communications across the organization. Beforehand, Sophia held roles as a Logistics Coordinator with UVA Acts, an Events Assistant with Newcomb Centers & Services, and a Campaign Intern for a local Virginia Beach election. Sophia holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. She is based in the Bay Area, California.
