Gabby Alvira serves as Pacific Environment’s Ports for People Program Assistant, supporting the management of the Ports for People campaign and assisting the campaign’s staff.
Prior to joining Pacific Environment, Gabby worked as an Environmental Policy AmeriCorps Fellow for the San Jose Conservation Corps, where she conducted research and outreach regarding businesses’ compliance with food waste laws. She has also held positions at the University of California, Santa Barbara’s Environmental Affairs Board as an Environmental Policy Coordinator and as a Sustainable Foods Chair. Gabby holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
