Eun Bi Kim

Shipping and Ports Associate (She/Her/Hers)

Eun Bi Kim serves as Pacific Environment’s Shipping and Ports Associate. Previously, she worked as a Senior Surveyor and approval engineer for DNV Korea, where she surveyed welding of hull structure, pipe installations, outfitting and production tests; approved stability documents including intact, damage calculation drawings, grain stability, inclining tests, lightweight surveys and ballast management plans. As a surveyor for new builds at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and Hyundai Heavy Industries site office of DNV Korea, she surveyed newly-built ships, including Methanol, LPG, LNG and oil carriers. In addition, Eun Bi worked as a researched at both EML Corporation and Korea Institute of Industrial Technology where she worked on the developing metal 3D printing technology. Eun Bi holds a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and a master’s degree in Naval Architecture from Ulsan University. She is based in Ulsan, South Korea.
