David Wood serves as Pacific Environment’s Communications Manager, Creative. Originally from the little village of Stevington, in England, David has ventured away from the rolling hills of the English countryside to the craggy peaks of the Appalachian Mountains, the misty shores of the Pacific Northwest and the vibrant landscapes of the Hawaiian islands. Along the way, he’s shared the stories of the natural world and the communities restoring balance and abundance to the places that shape them — most recently as the communications coordinator for The Nature Conservancy in Hawai’i. Through creative design and storytelling, he aims to inspire a little more hope and action so we can enjoy a more just and verdant future on our little blue marble.
David holds a B.S. in environmental studies from UNC Asheville and an M.A. in strategic communication from Hawai’i Pacific University. He is based in Carrboro, North Carolina.
