Sarah Clusen Buecher brings more than 20 years of experience working in and with non-profits to her position as Finance and Operations Assistant. Her focus is developing systems and streamlining processes so that the whole staff is able to dedicate more energy toward the organization’s innovative local partnerships.
Sarah previously helped launch the multi-issue group Roots Action, managed political programs at Credo/Working Assets and worked in the Sierra Club’s Office of Volunteer and Activist Services. Her dedication to her local community has led her to positions of leadership at her children’s elementary school as well as her daughter’s mountain bike racing team. She received a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Conservation from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
